Chelsea part ways with Andre Villas-Boas


             Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has been sacked by Chelsea. Chelsea have confirmed on their official website that Chelsea have parted ways with the manager. They also said that they wish AVB good luck and they also said that their relationship ended very quickly. Chelsea also announced that Roberto Di Matteo, the assistant manger will take charge of the club as the manager until the end of the season.
             Andre Villas-Boas had been under mounting pressure after only five wins from the last sixteen league games which have seen them drop out of the top four. Chelsea owner has sacked many managers duuring his reign and Andre Villas-Boas is seventh manager to be sacked by Roman Abramovich in NINE years. Chelsea are now standing fifth and are three points behind the fourth place Arsenal who have 46 points.
            Chelsea will look to bring Former England manager Fabio Cappello on the caretaking basis but Cappello is not keen on the caretaking role, He wants a job on the permanant basis. Chelsea will look to bring Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola or former Liverpool and Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez.
